Adrianne Palicki in New Wonder Woman Costume

Adrianne Palicki in New Wonder Woman Costume
The new Wonder Woman is not going to show off her leg while battling crime. Adrianne Palicki has fit into a new costume for the 1970's series reboot, wearing a blue shiny pants and blue boots. The original TV series, starring Lynda Carter, showed the heroine in a leotard-like costume and red boots.

What’s different from what we’ve seen before? Well, how about those shiny blue pants? And blue boots instead of red ones? Compared to Lynda Carter’s get-up, this body-hugging extravaganza de-emphasizes the patriotism and seems to play up the comic’s Greek mythology. And a special shout-out to those bracelets!

The new design seems to follow the updated comic version last year and more in line to the comic's Greek mythology. In its 600th issue, the "Wonder Woman" comic introduced a new timeline and origin of the character. The titular character sports black leather pants instead of the leotard.

Commenting on the new look, Carter told, "I think she looks fabulous. It's a new look and, jeez, her body looks fantastic." She also wants no comparison. "You know, I'm very sensitive to the fact that she will be compared," Carter said. "There's no getting around it. It is what it is. I would hope that people would cut her some slack."

Adrianne Palicki on "Elektra Luxx"

Adrianne Palicki on
Adrianne Palicki on "Elektra Luxx"-recalled actress Emmanuelle Chriqui on giving Adrianne Palicki a lap dance. Granted, they were on a set for the new indie movie Elektra Luxx but Chriqui smiled in reflecting about shooting the scene. “It was kind of a thing that came together,” she said, satisfied with the end result in the film. Chriqui also said it helped that the film’s director/writer, Sebastian Gutiérrez, knew what would help the sexy brunette cut loose while straddling Palicki’s tight midsection.

“Sebastian, for example, knows about me that I love to dance,” Chriqui said. “All you have to turn music on and I’m right there. He was like ‘Emm, do your thing’ and you could kind of celebrate that about me, which made it really safe.”

In the independent film, which opens this weekend in limited release, pregnant, retired porn star Elektra Luxx (played by Carla Gugino) is trying to reinvent herself but is blackmailed into seducing a woman’s fiancée. Elektra’s porn star buddy Holly Rocket (Palicki) and prostitute Bambi Lindberg (Chriqui) are on their own journey while vacationing in Mexico. In fact, Holly, who happens to be a bit dim and linguistically challenged, has a long-standing girl-crush on Bambi and tries to sabotage a double date with two men so perhaps the two ladies can truly be together.
