Jennifer Lopez has won over fans with her sexy style.
But as she balances her American Idol judging role with promoting her new album Love?, perhaps the 41-year-old is too busy to concentrate on her wardrobe.
And earlier that day she opted for a revealing white Hakan Yildirim shift dress with cut-out sections and a pair of silver stilettos as she appeared on BET TV show 106 & Park.
Teamed with her scraped back ponytail and big hooped earrings, the tacky look was a far cry from her usual sophisticated red carpet persona.
And at her album launch at The Grove shopping centre in Los Angeles last Friday, it was another faux pas in a unflattering gold strapless sequinned jumpsuit by Lebanese designer Zuhair Mared.
The 41-year-old American Idol judge, wearing a white dress with cutout detail on the side, chatted about her latest album, Love?
Jennifer Lopez will bring the Love? to the "American Idol" stage Thursday night (May 5) when the show's sole female judge performs and shows the newbies how it's done.
"You can expect some fun; I don't want to give away too much. But you know we're gonna go out there, we're gonna do our thing," she told MTV News on Tuesday.
"I've said this from the beginning: It's anybody's game. And I really still feel that way," she continued. "I think the voting's pretty close, and it could be anybody. It really is in America's hands. I am just a spectator."
With talk that she might get her own singing competition series, the singer does say she's loved every moment on "Idol," regardless of what the future holds. "I loved doing 'American Idol' this season," she gushed. "I loved it. I had the best time. The great thing for me, at this moment, is that there's a lot going on. There's a lot of possibilities, and I'm open to every single one of them."
